The "Train" has left the Station

We have begun the 2007 Edmonds Arts Festival. Friday and yesterday saw the check in of art that was selected to be hung in our juried show. We had a constant stream of people both days, bringing in all sorts of paintings, drawings, phtographs, schulpture, works in wood, glass and metal and even a pair of embroidered and beaded Greek sandals! I saw a few artists that I recognize from years past and some new faces, too. I think it's going to be a good show. There aren't enough hours in the day right now to get everything done, but as the saying goes, "The train has left the station" and the festival will happen no matter what. I'm just going to try and enjoy the ride.
Then I get to pack and head south....way south, to the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador and Peru. What a reward for the festival work. I can't wait!
